How a battery tracker lasts for years
A battery tracker doesn't send a live position; it checks in a few times a day. In between, it sleeps and uses almost no power. For stationary equipment that is all you need: you want to know where it is, and to be told when that changes.
- No wiring and no connection to a power supply
- The platform monitors the battery voltage, so you know well in advance when a battery needs replacing
- Can be retrofitted to existing equipment, even equipment that has been in use for years
- An alert with its position as soon as something moves when it shouldn't: at night, at the weekend, off your site
